THE DEETS
This coffee comes to us from the Ndaroini washing station in Nyeri, near the town of Karatina. The ripe cherries are hand-picked and taken to the washing station, where they are carefully sorted. The cherries are then pulped and fermented for 12-18 hours before being washed and graded. The seeds are dried in parchment on raised beds for 10-14 days. The washing station uses an ecopulper, which requires much less water for processing. Farmers also take back the discarded coffee pulp to compost and use it as fertilizer. This meticulous process yields an exquisite coffee with defined acidity, supreme balance, and tons of nuance in the cup.
We're super excited to bring in another stunner from Kenya. This coffee blew us away on the cupping table. It starts with a juicy punch of green apple and transitions to flavors of warm baking spice. It finishes with a sweet brown sugar note that will have you coming back for more before you put down that empty cup. Don't miss out on this super tasty coffee, y'all.
BREW IT RIGHT

REST IN PEACE
We rest washed processed coffees for 5-10 days. As the coffee rests, the volatility of the roast mellows, allowing its true, sweet, varietal character to shine.
