French Press

Big Body, Deep Sweetness, and Nice Texture

The French press is an immersion brewer known for dense, sweet cups, just be careful not to over-extract.
Dose: 40g coffee
Water: 600g water
Grind: Medium
Time: 5 minutes
1. Place press on scale
2. Add 40g ground coffee
3. Tare scale & start timer
4. Pour 600g hot water
5. 1:00, gently dunk grinds
6. Place plunger on press
7. 4:30, remove plunger
8. Skim frothy stuff off top
9. Place plunger on press
10. 4:45, slowly plunge
13. Decant, pour, enjoy!
