FRENCH PRESS

The French press is an immersion brewers known for dense, sweet cups. These brews taste great, but be careful not to over-extract.

Dose: 40g coffee
Water: 600g water
Grind: medium
Time: 5 minutes

1. Place press on scale
2. Add 40g ground coffee
3. Tare scale & start timer
4. Pour 600g water
5. At 1:00, dunk grinds
6. Place plunger on press
7. At 4:30, remove plunger
8. Skim frothy stuff off top
9. Place plunger on press
10. At 4:45, slowly plunge
13. Decant, pour, enjoy!
