ORIGIN

PANTHER'S EYE ROASTING COMPANY -
roasted our first batch in Savannah, GA, in 2010. It was instantly clear we needed a shorter name. Luckily, the acronym PERC worked. Back then, it was just me, a coffee roaster, and a stereo cranked up real loud. I'd ride my bike around town, sharing coffee with everyone I could. Things were really heating up, so I hired our first two employees, my Mom and Dad.

DREAM TEAM

Business was cooking. We had moved into a big warehouse with a larger roaster, and now we needed a team. I joined forces with Alan Fischer, Amber Foreman, Taylor Kimball, and Andrew Kapral. We came together like a coffee Voltron to take things to the next level. We defined our mission and values and used them to inform every aspect of the brand. We decided to open retail shops in my hometown of Atlanta. We made the shops welcoming and bright, with well-trained teams focused on making craft coffee approachable and fun.

THE FUTURE

Now, we are many, all working together toward a collective mission. We have big plans for the future, but whatever is in store, we'll always be a bunch of down-to-earth coffee people excited to share good times and totally awesome coffee with everyone we meet.
