Green Apple, Mixed Berries
This coffee comes from Fugi Station, which was built in 2013 and is dedicated to producing specialty-grade coffee. Located in the southern Province of Rwanda, Fugi is tucked between the Nyungwe National Forest and the border of Burundi. We tasted so many fantastic coffees from Rwanda this season that we decided to bring in two. This limited oxygen natural from Fugi station hits all the wild flavors we love in a Rwanda. This coffee immediately hits your palate with loads of vibrant, funky flavors. Think Green Apple, raspberry, and a finish that has a candy-like sweetness.
We recommend resting fresh coffee before drinking it. This allows the volatility of the roast time to subside, and the sweetness and character to shine. For best results, rest washed coffees for 5–10 days, natural coffees for 10–15 days, and experimental processed coffees for 15–30 days.
